Smart Contracts
Project scope

Developing drivers for solutions from the area of Distributed Ledger Technology and optimising their performance.

We are working on the project together with a partner from the Smart Contracts industry. We are developing our own language for defining contracts, ensuring consistency and security of transactions, as well as infrastructure for their launch. We are also creating components that enable the integration of the above-mentioned language with new and existing solutions in the area of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), including those based on Blockchain technology.

The work is divided between several teams responsible for individual components and the performance of the solution. The product is used by large international companies in the financial industry.

Tech stack

Scala, gRPC, Akka Streams, PostgreSQL (nice to have: Kubernetes, Docker, Haskell, Gradle, Bazel, Gatling, Grafana)

Team

Located in Switzerland and Krakow, consists of 4-6 people and a Product Manager.

What we expect in general

  • Strong proficiency in Scala and its ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software performance.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
  • A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, balancing technical excellence with real-world constraints.
  • Experience with distributed systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, contributing to a collaborative and high-performance engineering culture.
  • Good command of English (B2/C1).
