Project scope

The engagement focuses on enhancing developer experience (DX) and productivity within a large-scale Java/C++ monorepo through the engineering and maintenance of specialized Python tooling and system libraries. The solution enables hundreds of active developers to operate seamlessly in a shared codebase.

The scope of services encompasses delivering and maintaining custom compilers, formatters, VS Code plugins, Jenkins CI/CD infrastructure, and web-based tooling integrated with Bitbucket for streamlined PR management. The project currently utilizes Bazel as its primary build tool alongside Gradle, with ongoing efforts dedicated to completing the full build system migration and optimizing caching architectures.

  • Advanced proficiency in Python development and modern backend system architecture.
  • Advanced TypeScript capabilities paired with practical hands-on Angular experience.
  • Applied expertise in containerization (Docker) and CI/CD automation pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Efficient utilization of AI tools to maximize engineering efficiency and code quality.
  • High-level technical communication capabilities in English.
