About the role
Being a key part of the Azure enablement programme, this project focuses on helping application teams (Software Engineers) minimize the distance between onboarding and fully operational infrastructure. The scope of cooperation involves developing reusable infrastructure components in Terraform, designed as open for contribution. Additionally, the initiative includes building an internal platform for developers to centralise the technology and lower entry barriers to the cloud. The team operates as an Enabling Team, overcoming obstacles and supporting organisations with cloud-native technologies and modern, agile ways of working.
Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Go, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitOps
Building a centralised internal platform for developers involves a massive problem space. Delivering truly scalable solutions requires a strong focus on solid design and high-level automation. This creates opportunities for solving highly engaging technical challenges, ranging from developing Kubernetes operators and operating complex distributed systems in production, to building a thriving developer community around these solutions.
The team consists of self-organising and multidisciplinary engineers passionate about the cloud-native technology landscape. Operating across distributed locations, the cooperation relies on effective remote workflows, high autonomy, and an automation-first mindset.
