We are building a platform that helps large organisations manage installed tools for developers (eg. IDE and its plugins).
Tech stack
Kotlin, Spring, React, Redux, PostgreSQL, S3, TeamCity (for CI), Space (for code reviews)
Challenges
Build a tool that gives the best experience for the developers. Our goal is to provide valuable insights and the ability to manage versions and configurations at scale.
Team
2 people on our side and 3 on the client side. We do code reviews.
What we expect in general:
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) for complex projects, including web services, back-end systems, and desktop applications.
- Strong knowledge of web-related technologies and HTTP protocols.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems with scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Basic understanding of SQL databases, including installation and query syntax (e.g., creating tables, performing queries).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., TeamCity, Jenkins) and version control systems like Git.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and a basic understanding of launching and managing cloud instances.
- Ability to work effectively without detailed functional specifications and adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Quick learner, able to adapt to new technologies independently.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, understandable terms.
- Persistent and methodical approach to reproducing and solving complex cases, even in challenging scenarios.
- Proficiency in written English.
- Passion for QA, with a commitment to staying current on best practices and tools in the field.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on improving user experience.
- Team player who can also perform effectively with minimal supervision.
- Strong user-centric mindset, believing software is developed primarily for the users’ benefit.
